We're currently recruiting! You could be our next beginners running coach if...

?  You enjoy running and fun runs (Your speed and distance is not important)

?  You would love to help non-runners fall in love with running and achieve their first 5km

?  You live/work in close proximity to the Tan Track, Melbourne

?   You are available Mondays 6:30-7:30pm from January 15th to March 5th, 2018

What does Healthy Balance Fitness do?

Group fitness classes

We provide our awesome clients with HIIT boot camp, Boxing and Running classes in Caulfield, Hawthorn East / Camberwell,  Fitzroy and the CBD Melbourne.  Our sessions are 60 minutes, and we have a comprehensive timetable in early mornings and after work.

We don’t have a facility – we’re mobile!  We hire parks and venues like basketball stadiums, school gymnasiums and halls.  During winter our HIIT boot camp and Boxing classes move indoors out of the horrible Melbourne weather.

Online programs & information

We also offer online running programs and a weekly email newsletter to support and educate clients outside of our classes.


We’re very active on social media and provide helpful health and fitness information via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and our blog.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum)

At least 6 months experience leading groups

Registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia

A focus on physical activity for feeling good, functioning well, and enjoyment, rather than ‘body transformations’ and aesthetics
