You'll be run a personal best at Run Melbourne because...

You'll improve your endurance

Technique improvements mean you’ll be running better with less effort.  You’ll stop wasting energy so you can go further, and we’ll help you achieve your goal without risk of injury or overtraining.

You'll improve your technique

We’ll teach you stride rate, foot strike and posture to maximise efficiency and minimise risk of injury.  The quickest way to improve!

You'll improve your speed

We don’t just ‘go for a run’!  The interval training will improve your speed like never before so you’ll feel in peak condition.

You'll get a running guide

Included is an 11 wk training program to avoid overtraining, and a PDF running guide to give you plenty of running tips and fun run tricks.

You'll stay motivated

Having scheduled running classes and a trainer expecting you will boost your commitment.  The awesome camaraderie will keep your motivation levels high.

You'll get friendly support

You’ll be treated like a part of the family, not as a random person in a crowd.  We’ll work around your injuries, and make you feel welcome regardless of your experience, age, shape or size.

Not just a running group, we provide running coaching, technique information and feedback in every class

When?

Choose 1 or 2 classes
per week
Mondays 6:30pm
Wednesdays 6:30pm

Where?

We meet at the Tan Track, Melbourne and can store your bags while we train.

Unlike some other run groups, we don’t just go for a run.  You could do that by yourself!

Is this the right level for me?

Our General Level Running Group Melbourne caters for a wide range of fitness levels – ranging from participants training for a 5km, 10km, or half marathon.  We have runners of all ages, abilities, experience levels and body shapes and sizes.  Everyone is warmly welcomed and supportively coached to achieve their own personal best.  If you can already manage a slow 3Km jog (or more) you’re ready for this program.  If you’re brand new to running check out our Beginners Level running group.

I would like to say thank you to yourself and Shannon, for the warm up, encouragement and being there on race day. It was so nice to see fellow participants reach their PB’S too.  The 11 weeks has been fantastic for me, and I am thoroughly enjoying running and setting myself goals.

Having only run briefly previously, many years ago, I was unashamedly roped into running again by an old friend.  Thinking I was in for months of ongoing pain and exhaustion, I was surprised and delighted with the Healthy Balance Fitness coaches and support provided by other runners. I can honestly say I’ve had a great time, I have fun and I never thought I’d enjoy running quite as much as I do now.  I can’t recommend Healthy Balance Fitness enough for anybody interested in starting, or improving their fitness regime.

No matter what your objective is, Healthy Balance is there to help you achieve it. I have been a regular on and off over the last 5 years. The ‘bridezilla’ in me gave me the kickstart with bootcamp sessions and now I am back after my second baby. Jodie’s team are the best in the business, it’s hard to find trainers that provide you with diversity, professionalism and flexibility.

I am so excited about what I have achieved this year! I could not have done it without the support of Healthy Balance Fitness. I have made some amazing positive changes to my life this year and I am very proud of that. A year ago I would not have bothered to get up early on a Sunday morning to run 10km!!!! I’m looking forward to finishing off this year on a high and continuing to achieve new goals…
