Healthy Balance Fitness boxing classes

Learn how to throw a proper punch without having to receive one.


Boxing gyms can be intimidating, and involve learning how to take a punch – not just throw one!  If you’d love the fitness benefits of boxing without the risk of sparring and fighting, we’re the place for you.

 

How does it work?

Every session is different, however the basic structure involves boxing combinations in focus pads, mixing it up with other exercises to improve your full body strength and cardiovascular fitness.

What punches will we perfect?

You’ll learn the correct technique for jabs, crosses, hooks, upper cuts, and you’ll even get to try out elbow and knee strikes too!  You won’t believe how fun it is and how powerful you’ll feel.

Do I need experience?  Do I need to bring a partner?

Most people come along without a partner.  We’ll pair you up with someone like you and you’ll get to meet a stack of awesome people.  Don’t worry if you’ve never done boxing before, we teach everything from scratch and provide feedback so you get a safe and effective workout.
